Wildfire NOTD subscriber John Simmons, Spokesman for the USA Firefighting Air Corps, sent along an email from Airbus with the following comments: "Airbus Group IRKUT SEAPLANE SAS has scheduled an emergency stakeholder meeting with USA Firefighting Air Corps and International Emergency Services the first week in September in Washington, DC, to launch efforts to bring the Be-200 into service in the United States. Supporters of the American version of the Be-200 are invited to contact John Simmons at USAFAC at 1-800-810-4030 for more information on participating in the launch"
