Mandatory evacuations lifted near Big Bear Lake as wildfire grows to 1,200 acres amid California heat wave


Although mandatory evacuations for the 1,200-acre Holcomb Fire, burning near the Southern California mountain community of Big Bear, have been lifted, the ongoing heatwave is slowing containment of the blaze, which is currently only 10%.
