Military-style helicopters return to Longmont airport for wildland firefighting training


Blackhawk and Lakota helicopters flying out of Vance Brand Municipal Airport are being used by the Colorado Army National Guard for wildland fire training in live bucket operations, with the exercise expected to run through April 12.
