Forest Fires Aren’t at Historic Highs in the United States. Not Even Close


As wildfires in the West dominate the headlines, the Foundation for Economic Education noted that wildfires in the 1930's and 1940's were equally devastating, summing it up in a single phrase: "the idea that America is witnessing an unprecedented apocalypse of fire is simply not true."
