Burglars ransack helitack base stealing $50k in firefighting, aviation and forestry equipment
Thieves stole firefighting, aviation and forestry equipment valued at $40,000 to $50,000 from Tuolumne County's Bald Mountain Helitak Base in the Stanislaus National Forest, roughly 20 miles northeast of the Northern California town of Sonora.
