California sees below-average wildfire activity, but experts warn that fire season isn't over yet


Although CAL FIRE and U.S. Forest Service officials reported that only 6,164 wildland fires burned 312,739 acres across California through October, versus the 5-Year average of 6,884 wildland fires burning 1,570,571 acres, the wildfire danger has not quite abated as of yet.
