Michael Archer: Michael Archer is a wildfire consultant who holds degrees in Agriculture, Electronics, and Engineering Technology. He has written articles for Wildland Firefighter Magazine, Home & Fire Magazine, and firefighting columns for Military.com and Firehouse.com. He has been interviewed by KABC-TV, USA Today, and Associated Press on wildfire issues.

Currently, he writes Wildfire News of the Day, a compilation of wildfire-related news items that goes out weekdays to over 10,000 subscribers on five continents.
