Wildfires Followed by Severe Rain Will Become More Common
A climate scientist at the University of California, Santa Barbara, published a new study which found that climate change increases the likelihood that a wildfire in the Western U.S. will be followed by intense rainfall, raising the risk of landslides and flash floods in burn areas.
