‘Bad idea’: LAFD crews told to abandon smoldering blaze that reignited as Palisades Fire, LAT reports


A new report in the Los Angeles Times indicates that Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters were ordered to stop mopping up embers smoldering underground left behind by the 8-acre Lachman Fire on January 2nd, embers which were rekindled by Santa Ana winds on January 7th into the deadly Palisades Fire.
