France, Spain and Greece battle wildfires as Europe swelters

Firefighters in France, Spain and Greece are battling major wildfires, with Spain bringing the blaze on the border between Madrid and ‌Castilla y Leon under control, but facing new threats as intense heat, dry vegetation and powerful winds kept much of southern Europe on high alert.
